FreeBird - an update

Strange, that the backdrop to this blog is that of my last blog "Free Bird", not really........I do not find it strange that today I came into the open garage to find a lone bird trapped inside. I frightened it and as it flew around the top of the garage trying to find it's way out, it bumped and banged into the walls. I tried to calm it, talk to it and assist it in finding it's way back to freedom (not a little unlike what I do for myself everyday). This was another sign for me (I know, how many can there be?) Many and many more where that came from...nothing is of coincidence to me......I can see within that experience in the moment, my own struggle at banging my head against walls of places where I don't belong.....finally and apparently for no reason at all the bird came down to a lower elevation and flew out the garage door, not before quickly flying by my head in a quick good-bye as it flew off into freedom on my front lawn to find a worm.......as far as omens go.......I believe this was just a little reminder to me that while we are all free, we can sometimes get lost within that freedom, losing our way, after a little while of banging into things somehow we find our way back to the place we belong...........a little banged up but happy and content to be back in flight in the right direction..........Namaste
