Is there and what, if any, significance is there to 09 09 09......this was the question running through my mind after a dance in the cornfield (yes, you read that right) that led to this blog.
The first significance I discovered was that 09 09 09 will be the last set of repeating digits in the calender until January 1, 2101 or if your a real stickler not until January 1, 3001.
A numerologist who works outside the realm of science would bring your attention to the significance to the special vibration or rank that the Number 9 holds and that is that the number 9 is associated with forgiveness, compassion and success, on the flip side (and there is always a flip side) it is associated with arrogance and self-
righteousness......positive and negative, yin and yang.....the fine balance of the universe.
Pythagoras (a
mathematician) noted for example that the sum of the 2 digits resulting from 9 multiplied by any other single digit number will equal 9...(took me a while)...here are some examples....9 x 3 = 27 and 2 + 7 = 9, 9 x 2 = 18 and 1 + 8 = 9, 9 x 62 = 558 and 5 + 5 + 8 = 18 and 1 + 8 = 9.....those of you with a
mathematicians mind will figure it out quickly.
September 9 is also the 252 day of the year and.......2 + 5 + 2 = 9, as well 09 09 09 falls on a
Wednesday in
September and both have, of course, 9 letters.
Both the Japanese and the Chinese have special associations for the number 9, one positive and the other negative...
I am intrigued, although I have still found no solid evidence that this day has any special significance to the universe, maybe 09 09 09 will only be of significance to those individuals who experience an event on this day............if you get married, have a child, lose a loved one, get a promotion, lose your job or experience any other significant
occurrence on 09 09 09 then I presume that this day will stand out in your
existence.....to me it was just an ordinary day dancing in the cornfield.......and a day that reminded me that each day we are given is special....we are alive and here, able to experience all that life has to offer including the unknown significances going on in the universe around us.
So there you have it, not sure if my
curiosity about 09 09 09 is
satiated........now I am left to
occasionally ponder on the significance of my own special number -3 and the significant date of
September 27, 2008, on which, during a solitary moment my body, mind and spirit took me on a journey through which my entire
existence seemed to play together through very significant dates and numbers in my life weaving a connection and comprehension to many of the
events in my
existence, this is another blog.
MAYBE, we all have a special date (besides our birthday) and/or number associated with our
existence.....there I go again......if I didn't have to get some sleep I might just go on a deeper search........I'll leave that up to you.
As I go to sleep tonight in anticipation of a brand new day tomorrow, I'll end the day hoping that the 3 9's of 09 09 09 shift the balance of the universe a little more to the positive side and bring about more compassion and forgiveness in the world, we can always use more of that.....
